WHAT IS A REVERSE RAFFLE?
Like a classic raffle, tickets are sold, and a winner is drawn. But with a Reverse Raffle, instead of drawing the winning ticket first, all non-winning tickets are drawn until only a few are left. The few remaining tickets are finalists to win a big prize!

 

WHAT IS THE MAD REVERSE RAFFLE?
A fundraiser to benefit Mad River Seniors (MRS), our Valley’s resource for Meals on Wheels, community meals, support of Free Wheelin’, and wellness activities for senior neighbors.​

• Just 200 tickets sold at $100 each

• Grand Prize is $5,000!

• Four $500 runner-up prizes

• Five $200 last-chance prizes (chosen from 195 non-winning tickets)

WHEN ARE TICKETS DRAWN?
June 29 – July 1: Of the 200 tickets sold, 50 non-winning tickets will be drawn each day
July 2:  45 Non-winners will be drawn, leaving 5 finalists remaining
July 4 at the Warren Parade:

• 4 Non-winning tickets will be drawn; owners will each receive $500!

• One Grand Prize Winner of $5,000 will be drawn and announced!

• BONUS: 5 of the 195 non-winning tickets will receive a Last-Chance Prize of $200 each.

 

HOW DO I KNOW IF I’M A FINALIST?
Non-winning tickets will be drawn and announced daily on June 29, 30, July 1 and 2.

WHERE CAN I GET MY REVERSE RAFFLE TICKET?
Tickets will be sold at the following locations until all 200 have been sold out. 

• On this webpage starting May 12

• ​​Mehurons Market: Sundays, 9:00a – 12:00 noon from May 12 until sold out!

• Waitsfield Farmers Market: May 25, June 8, June 22 (or until sold out)
