Impact
Our Meals on Wheels program currently serves, on average, 200 meals per week. We deliver daily dietician-approved lunches to our clients five days a week, plus two frozen meals and milk for the weekend. Many of our clients are isolated socially and physically. For some, we are the only visitors of the day. Our volunteer drivers deliver much-needed sustenance and check on our clients' safety and well-being.
Through Meals on Wheels and our two community meals (Monday breakfasts and Tuesday luncheons), we provide nutritional meals, opportunities for social connections, and access to health and wellness resources for seniors in our community.

About Mad River Seniors
The Mad River Seniors is a non-profit organization that has served the Vermont towns of Waitsfield, Fayston, Warren, and Moretown for 35 years. We are guided and supported by a Board of Directors, three part-time paid staff, and many, many local volunteers who are critical to our success.
Our mission is to enhance the lives of seniors in the Mad River Valley by providing meals, activities, and services that support their social, intellectual, and physical well-being. We prepare and deliver Meals on Wheels, serve two community meals each week, and provide educational and cultural activities and excursions for seniors in our area. We also administer and help finance the Free Wheelin’ service that provides free transportation for seniors.
